The Advantage Consulting Group has developed two sets of methodologies dedicated to business process engineering. Each considers the simple and complex aspects of engineering a process either from inception or a re-establishment of practice. We start by using these templates to develop a full customization to the individual and unique requirements of the client. The Professional Activity Coordination tool set, ProAct, is designed to address individual business activities and the resources required to perform those activities. It enables the client to discover and remedy any discrepancies within an activity before embarking on the larger picture of the entire process. ProAct also includes tools to design a resource requirement necessary to maximize employee productivity, utilization and customer satisfaction. ProAct is typically used as a precursor to the System for Activity Management tool set.
The System for Activity Management, S.A.M., is designed to enable clients to strategize the "big picture". This set of tools and methodologies is typically used to streamline entire divisions, impacting all of the cost centers within the division. S.A.M. includes tools that address the core competencies of an organization, as well as tools to design resource requirements. S.A.M. positions clients to achieve the next level of growth or for merger and acquisition opportunities.
